JOB SUMMARY:

As the Senior Accountant, you will own the end-to-end delivery of taxation services and work closely with other accountants to ensure timely and accurate lodgment of all returns.

This is a full-time role requiring your exclusive commitment to our firm.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Service

  • Tax return preparation ITR, CTR, TTR’s
  • Proactively manage client queries, delivering accurate advice and on-time work

Technical Delivery

  • Finalise all compliance financial statements, ITRs, CTRs, TTRs, SMSFs, FBT, TPARS, CGT, Division 7A, SBE concessions, etc.
  • Maintain 90 % chargeable productivity

Team Leadership

  • Train, coach and upskill direct reports in tax, bookkeeping, payroll and client-facing skills
  • Conduct monthly 1-on-1s and annual performance reviews

Workflow & Quality

  • Allocate, track and review jobs alongside the Senior Production Manager
  • Enforce firm procedures, budgets and timelines

Reporting

  • Provide monthly KPIs and 360° feedback to the Director/Partner

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: 5 yrs in Australian tax (public practice)
  • Education/Cert: Accounting degree; CPA/CA preferred
  • Technical depth: Confident with individual & entity returns, CGT, Division 7A, non-commercial loss rules, SBE concessions, FBT, payroll tax, WorkCover, franking, depreciation, SG, family-trust elections
  • Software: Xero (90 % of clients) • Xero Practice Manager • QuickBooks • MYOB • Class Super • Now Infinity • Karbon • MS 365
  • Soft skills: Clear English communication (written & oral), consultative selling mindset, people-first leadership, solutions focus
  • Availability: Attend daily MS Teams huddles and ad-hoc client video calls

 

SUCCESS METRICS (Reviewed Monthly)

  • Chargeable hours ≥ 90 % of total time
  • Jobs delivered on or under budget/timeframe
  • Quality of working papers & adherence to procedures
  • Client response time & satisfaction (return calls/emails)
  • Team workflow efficiency & rating from direct reports

 

PERFORMANCE APPRAISALS:

You will have a performance review every six months identifying your strengths and areas for improvement. Salary will be formally reviewed annually along with the opportunity for you to provide feedback to improve your position and the firm.

JOB SUMMARY: 

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for undertaking marketing tasks to assist the Director. The ideal candidate has 2 Plus years of experience in an Australian based office and preferable to have a basic knowledge of administration procedures. 

You will also be required to work exclusively for our firm. 

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Strong copywriting skills, 
  • Basic graphic skills would be an advantage (Canva and Figma), 
  • Good Communicator and ability to use task tracking tools 
  • Perform research, analyses, and testing with a variety of tools to gain insights and shape marketing strategy. 
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise automation as well as the lead-nurturing process using email, content, events, and other social channels. 
  • Assist in the execution of marketing plans. 
  • Create and distribute monthly reports on critical metrics for lead generation, content creation, website traffic, and other KPIs. 
  • Assist the Digital Marketing Manager in the development and execution of campaigns, including content creation, new product launches, social media, upselling, cross-selling, and sales enablement 
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints 
  • Any other reasonable tasks assigned by the Office Manager 

Teamwork 

  • You will be required to work in a team. 
  • You will have good interpersonal skills and be a good communicator 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE – Preferable but Not Compulsory 

  • Canva and Figma
  • Surfer SEO 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
  • Computer skills and knowledge of office software 
  • Polished presentation and impeccable client service skills
